Gunner was found outside on the campus of a local high school this morning. Nobody knows where he came from or how he got to the school. He was pulled in and he hung out in a classroom all morning until his finder could get him into the vet. He instantly won over all of the staff and he got his name from the school’s mascot which is gunner the gopher. He’s a big lover and he literally purred the entire time the vet was working on him even though you could tell he was in pain. He is just so happy to be around people and have their attention. Gunner will be needing to have surgery to amputate one of his toes and is scheduled for 1/22/21 at San Tan Animal Hospital.  The vet also discovered that this poor boy is also battling an upper respiratory infection, earmites, and has a heart murmur. All donations received will go to help cover the cost of care for this sweet boy.
