Salutations, I’m Washington

My favorite thing to do is play! I’m pretty strategic about it, so you can call me General Washington! I like to wrestle and I’m really good at using soft paws and a gentle mouth when playing with my friends. I love to roll on my back and bat at things. I like to play with my brother, Lincoln, too.

What makes me special is I am a former barn kitty. I start out shy, but once I am comfortable I am really a sweetie. Some kitties are all play and some are all cuddle, but I love both. I’m a pretty well balanced individual that way.

I want my new owner to know I’m mostly quiet, but I have a cute, squeaky meow I use to greet my favorite people. Hello, treat dispenser…. I mean, favorite human. How are you? Let’s play!
I’m a little shy with dogs and new to me cats at first, but given a little time, I like making friends! I get along fine with kids, but my foster family recommends kids over 10 years old as I am wary of big movements and loud noises.

When I am feeling playful I like to…tackle any toys with feathers. I’ll also chase anything on a string. Catnip toys are a favorite, too. When it is time to rest I sleep I love to sleep in laps or curled up in blankets.
