Hello, I’m Roan

My favorite thing to do is talk and play! If I were in school, I’d be the class clown. I love to be up and moving. I like to say hello to everyone I meet and I purr as soon as someone picks me up. Once I’m all worn out from playing hard, I love to be held and pet while I take a little nap.

What makes me special is I’m gorgeous, inside and out. Check out my coat! Most orange and white kittens have striping in the orange, but I only have faint striping on my tail. My main spots are just an amazing bright orange! My foster mama says she’s fostered like a hundred kittens and never one that looked like me. She says I have beautiful eyes too. It’s true. I do.

I want my new owner to know I was rescued by a lot of great people. First, someone took my mama cat in off the streets and gave her a comfy place to raise me. Next their coworker helped my mama cat’s family find an animal rescue for me and my siblings so we could have everything we needed for a healthy start. Now I’m with a foster family with kids, other cats, and dogs, and I like all of them. I’m really lucky to have had so many people help me grow into my best self. Now I’m ready to find some forever playmates and snuggle buddies!

When I am feeling playful I like to…climb cat trees, chase jingle ball toys, carry around catnip mice, and wrestle with another kitty. I’d be happiest in a home where I could have another friendly cat or kitten to be pals with. When it is time to rest I sleep up on a kitty tree platform or curled up in a fuzzy bed. I also like to sleep in laps or curled up with another kitty.
