Hello, I’m Veela

My favorite thing to do is reign! I am a princess. I like to be boss kitty in my litter. I like to keep clean, and I like to have a ball playing with other kittens.

What makes me special is I was the last kitten caught in a shed, a few days behind the other kittens who were there. The ordeal was pretty terrifying for me. I hiss when I’m scared, but I’m not a mean kitty. I will need a patient family that will give me time to feel comfortable in a new environment. Once I feel safe, my energetic curious, and happy personality blossoms. It would be best for me to have another friendly kitty around to help me feel secure. I’m ok with older kids, but young kids move fast and unpredictability, which is scary to me. My littermates, Scabbers and Norbert, are much better with any age kids.

I want my new owner to know I was born a stray and I’m still getting used to all the noises in an indoor environment. Vacuum cleaners, loud sneezes, doors squeaking all send me into hiss and hide mode. I’m quickly learning though, that I am safe in a comfortable place and lots of good food and toys. I’m coming out to play more and more and my foster family predicts that it won’t be too long before I feel safe and in control.

When I am feeling playful I like to…wrestle with and chase my siblings, bat at catnip mice and balls, and climb kitty towers. When it is time to rest I sleep Curled up in cozy places with my siblings.

I am good with Cats, Kids and I have no experience around dogs
