Hello, I’m Prickly Pear

My favorite thing to do is climb and play! I like high perches where I can see the world. I like to wrestle with my siblings.

What makes me special is I can be a little shy at first meeting, but given a little time I like to play, explore, and say hello to my favorite humans and furry friends. Due to my initial shyness, very young children are not reccomended, but I am just fine with older kids, friendly cats, and mellow dogs.

I want my new owner to know I was found in a hay yard. The farm owners wanted my siblings and I to have a safer, happy life with humans, so we were brought into resce and our wild mama was spayed and released so she could live her best life.

When I am feeling playful I like to…climb and wrestle, chase anythingbthat slides or rolls, and bat at toys that dangle from a wand or cat tree. I love to perch up high and survey my surroundings, and I perch like a mountain goat on narrow surfaces that you’ll wonder how I got to in the first place! I’m clever. When it is time to rest I sleep Curled up in a cozy cat bed or perched on the tippy top of kitty towers.
