Meet, I’m Orville Wright
My favorite thing to do is Cuddle and play! I get the zoomies and race around after feather toys and jingle balls. When my energy is used up I want to curl up with my favorite people and purr. I habe a croaky, quiet meow that I mostly use to ask for treats!
What makes me special is I was trapped at a school whose mascot is the aviators. That’s why my name is Orville. I was pretty scared at first, but I’ve learned that being an indoor kitty is the best. I’m a foodie and I love the treats and other eats that come with being a person’s pampered pet. I pounce on treats and roll them around before I gobble them up.
I want my new owner to know I’m a bit of an introvert. I still have a little bit of my outdoor cat instinct left. I hide from big movements and loud noises. It takes me a little time to warm up to new people. A lot of people adopt based on really quick first impressions and since I’m shy they don’t pick me. My foster mama says I need to show people my best self in the first 30 seconds of meeting someone, but that’s hard for me because my stray mama cat taught me to hide when I’m nervous!
I need someone who will give me a little time to adjust to new people and a new environment. I’ll make it worth your time! I love to drape myself over people I trust, hug their arm, give them kisses and purr. I’m still mostly a kitten so a little initial investment will get you a lot of love.
In my foster home I get along with cat friendly dogs, other kitties, and older children (young children move too fast and loud, so I mostly hide from them).
My foster family says I’m a sweet, handsome boy. I’m all dressed up in my tux for any occasion. Maybe adoption day? My foster family says I’m totally worth it.
When I am feeling playful I like to…Zoom! I love to play with dangly feather toys, climb cat trees, and play with anything that moves! I’m only a year old, so still pretty much a kitten. When it is time to rest I sleep I love hammock beds when it’s just me, or to curl up with people I trust. I also steal the dog’s bed when he isn’t looking. I can’t help it! It’s comfy!
