Hello, I’m Nezumi

My favorite thing to do is cuddle up in a soft blanket. See, I was born outside and one day when it was getting cold I decided to climb up into this warm place. It was dirty, yeah, but I just wanted to be warm, ya know? Then it got really loud and awfully scary and started moving fast. Turns out I was in a car engine and the people didn’t hear me until they got home. I went for a seventeen mile car ride under the hood! It was very scary, but people tell me I am the luckiest kitten ever because I didn’t get hurt. The nice people who got me out cleaned me up and brought me to AZCare so I could be given my best chance of finding a happy ending after my scary forever. They introduced me to cozy, clean blankets, and wow! I’ve never slept in a better place.

What makes me special is I am very sweet and super soft. I am not a very vocal kitten, but if you hold me in your lap and scrith my chin and ears, listen close! I have a quiet purr. My foster family named me Nezumi (Ne-zoom-ee), which means ‘mouse’ in Japanese. Sometimes they just call me ‘Zoomy’.

I want my new owner to know that I prefer to have another gentle kitty around to be my friend. I don’t like to be alone. I am okay with dogs, but they rank behind people and kitties for me. I pretty much ignore them.

When I am feeling playful I like to…play with another kitten, or bat at anything that jingles. When it is time to rest I sleep I like to sleep in warm, soft blankets. I’ve found that I much prefer them to car engines!
