Introducing, I’m Melvin!

My favorite thing to do is Be with my siblings. Anywhere they are- I will not be far behind. I love to chase and play with them. I love wrestling and running around the house with them!

What makes me special is My siblings and I (Roland, Ralph and Irmagene) were found in a garbage can! Someone tried to throw us away! Because we had such a rough beginning we all are still learning to trust. I really hope to be adopted with one of them since we really help each other feel more comfortable in this world! I want my new owner to know When I was first rescued I was terrified and was always hiding. I didn’t know that I was safe yet. I have come a LONG way but still get scared! I am the shyest or the group and really lean on my siblings to understand what’s happening around me. I am darling! I have the cutest marking of while patches throughout my orange fur.. I am finally getting to the point that I will come up to people (very slowly) and will let them pet me. Once I do, I realize how much I love it and I will rub all over your hand to keep you petting me! So please have patience with me! I will take some time to adjust but if I can feel Your love- I will come around!

When I am feeling playful I like to… Run and chase my siblings. We have so much fun together!!! We like to find balls and little cotton mice and chase them together! When it is time to rest I sleep With my brothers and sister- all curled up On the cat tree or on the couch!
