Hi there, I’m Bells

My favorite thing to do is sleep and eat. I love food! I was rescued by the Chandler Fire Department, from a sewer drain. I hadn’t eaten in days and was very close to giving up. The firemen found me and saw that I wasn’t wild. They realized this when they let me go and I didn’t go. I followed them all around, asking for pets. They fed me and got me healthy, then found me a place with AZ Care Rescue.

What makes me special is I am a chatty girl. I feel like everyone understands me but sometimes my people look very confused.

I want my new owner to know I am a Tortie. Have you ever heard of “Tort-atude?” Well it is real, and I have it. I am as sweet as can be but I let you know when I have had enough or if I don’t like something. I am very direct. I will give you a hiss or low growl to let you know how I feel. I am just vocal, not mean. I love my people and want to be near you always.

When I am feeling playful I like to…sleep and eat. When it is time to rest I sleep I like to sleep with people but if they won’t let me, I will just find a comfy spot and settle in.

I am good with Cats and I have no experience around dogs, kids
