Hi there, I’m Mackerel!

My favorite thing to do is… Observe my surroundings and watch. But once I am comfortable, I will play hard!

What makes me special is… I am the calmest kitten on the planet! I am quiet and I like to watch things and observe before I get involved. I am also quiet. My meow is very tiny for a big guy like myself.

I want my new owner to know… While I am quiet and like to observe, I am not scared of people and I will let them hold me. I rest comfortably on my humans’ chest or lap. My human mom says I do good getting my nails clipped.

When I am feeling playful I like to… I love dangly, string toys. These get my attention like no other! I like to bat endlessly at things that move, especially if I get to stretch my legs and extend my reach. I look like a boxer on a speed bag! I also like to dive for toys in hidey-holes. On my wishlist: A cat scratching post.

Where do I sleep? I sleep in a hammock with my brother and sister. But if a human is near me I will stay put with them.
