Meet Gylfie

My favorite thing to do is be with you! I’m a very affectionate kitty. I like to make friends with cats, dogs, and kids. I purr when people pick me up and I like to snuggle and play with other animals. I am a gentle kitty and I am hoping for an equally gentle family.

What makes me special is I came from a family that loved me very much, but one of my people ended up needing a lot of medical care. My first family decided it would be best for me to go to a new household where I would get more attention. I was sad to leave them, but I do love meeting new people. My foster family says I am the perfect trifecta of sweet, beautiful, and social.

I want my new owner to know that I need friends! I get sad when I am alone, so my foster family highly recommends that I go to a family with another friendly cat to be my buddy. I get along well with nice dogs, too, but I am happiest with another kitty to snuggle up with.

When I am feeling playful I like to…pounce on toy mice, chase anything that rolls, or bat at any toy you will dangle for me. When it is time to rest I sleep I like to sleep curled up with a friend anywhere soft and cozy. You’ll find me on cat trees, on bookshelves, or snuggled up in a blanket.
