Hello, I’m Gustave

My favorite thing to do is cuddle up! I like attention and love to be pet.

What makes me special is I showed up at a friendly woman’s porch, looking for food. She felt I was much to friendly to be a stray, so she had me checked for a microchip and did an extensive owner search with no results. I came to her porch daily for food and affection, and when it got colder and I showed up with scratches from being picked on by other cats, she brought me in and got me to AZ Care Rescue.

I want my new owner to know Since I did spend some time outdoors I do hide when I’m startled. I love pretty much everyone I’ve met and have done well with older children. Since quick movements make me nervous, it’d probably be less stressful for me to be in a household without very young children. I look longingly out windows, but I am much better off as an indoor only kitty. I need an adopter committed to helping me adjust to happily live indoors. It’s going well for me so far in my foster home. They say I’m a big sweetheart. I’ve only been in rescue for a short time, so I have not yet been introduced to other cats or dogs, but I did get along with other gentle cats previously.

When I am feeling playful I like to… explore my surroundings. When it is time to rest I sleep in cozy caves. I like cat houses and domed beds.

I am good with Cats, Kids and I have no experience around dogs
