Hello, I’m Atacama

My favorite thing to do is Play! I’m a docile kitten,and I mostly take my cues from my more flamboyant littermates. I’ll follow them into mayhem or mischief, or into a cuddle pile for a nap.

What makes me special is I am a very sweet gal. I like to cuddle and purr. I like to play and climb. I get along with everyone I’ve met. I’m content to be a follower.

I want my new owner to know I was found at a recycling yard, suffering from severe heat exhaustion. If people hadn’t intervened, my littermates and I wouldn’t have made it. We were extremely underweight and dehydrated when rescued. Thanks to the kind intervention of people working at the yard and the critical care provided by the rescue, I’m now a robust, healthy kitten with a bright future.

When I am feeling playful I like to… chase balls, wrestle with littermates, and zoom the room. When it is time to rest I sleep In cat houses or the hammock part of a cat tree. I like cave-like hide holes to sleep in, and when I’m rested I come right out to play.
