Aravaipa
Pet

Aravaipa

Aravaipa and her family were trapped by ASU students who partnered with AZ CARE Rescue to help the local cat population by placing the kittens born on campus into care and working to trap/neuter/release the feral adult cats on the Polytechnic Campus.

Aravaipa shocked her foster family with purrs and cuddles her first day in care. She was destined to be a house cat, pampered, and loved unconditionally! This sweet girl has the tiniest mew and loves spending her time with her people. She has officially renounced her cat family and has yet to realize that she can still be friends with them AND be a house cat.

Meet my family! Picacho, Mary Lou, & Backus

Mary Lou
Pet

Mary Lou

Mary Lou and her four kittens were trapped by ASU students who partnered with AZ CARE Rescue to help reduce the local cat population by placing the kittens born on campus into care and working to trap/neuter/release (TNR) the feral adult cats on the Polytechnic Campus.

Mary Lou was thought to be feral and went through a TNR program before being brought into care. During her recovery it was discovered that she had a sweet disposition and was a great candidate for rescue. She has the tipped ear, universal sign of an altered feral cat, but the heart of a house cat. It is speculated that she once was a house cat who was released on campus.

Dahlia
Pet

Dahlia

Dahlia - Dahlia was a kitten with AZCARE. She has been adopted and returned a couple of times-through no fault of her own. There was a breakup, a move, and most recently a medical condition that the owner was unable to afford treatment for. She is very sweet girl who has known so much love and just needs her forever home!!

Stripes
Pet

Stripes

Stripes was found on Grand Canyon University's Williamsfield campus and brought to us. She was too sweet to be a feral and oops... she went to college for a degree ended up with a belly full of kittens! Having learned her lesson, she became a mom of 5 adorable kittens and then was promptly fixed. She is great with dogs, cats and kids and would make a wonderful addition to any home.

My 5 Kittens are: Fezz, Donna, Kitty, Kelso, and Hyde.

Butter
Pet

Butter

Butter was a homeless kitty being fed in a neighborhood with other strays. The family who was feeding her was amazed at how friendly she was and brought her to AZ CARE. This fluffy girl is a bundle of love and affection! She is beautiful both inside and out! Once you get to know her and earn her trust, she's true to her name: she'll melt just like Butter!
