Picacho
Pet

Picacho

Picacho and his brothers and sister were born on Arizona State University’s Polytechnic Campus. Picacho and his family were trapped by ASU students who partnered with AZ CARE Rescue to help the local cat population by placing the kittens born on campus into care and working to trap/neuter/release the feral adult cats on the Polytechnic campus.

Picacho is the runt of his litter and the day he was caught we found his momma sitting right by his trap, protecting her smallest. This little fellow is small, but mighty and has a personality all his own. He is slow to trust, but is making progress every day. He is fast to let you know when he isn't feeling it, but really just needs patience and lot of love.

Left Behind
Pet

Left Behind

Leftbehind - Like a infant surrendered to a fire station, he was left in his kennel with a note at Petsmart. Once taken into the rescue, he got the special treatment of being fostered by the President of AZCARE. He is super sweet and cries for loving, wanting to be pet and scratched all the time. He is great with all people and other cats but has not been tested with dogs. His personality is so great that we don't think it will be an issue. Due to his abandonment, he is an absolute love hog and can't wait to fill the heart(s) of his new family.

Mallow
Pet

Mallow

Mallow - Was found out in Butcher Jones. Thought to be feral, he was brought to the rescue through a TNR program when they realized he wasn't truly feral, just scared. They called us and asked to help him out. He will need a lot of time and love. He will do best in a quiet home with no small children as he scares easily.

Pharoah
Pet

Pharoah

Pharoah - oh sweet Pharoah! He came in originally as an owner surrender when his person passed away. He was with the rescue for a long time and adopted twice. The first time he was returned because the landlord said no. The second time lasted two years and then... a breakup of his people. He is shy, but quickly comes out of his shell. He has a tiny little baby mew when he sees you and wants pets. And a big old man yowl when you're ignoring him. You just can't help but love this big lug of a boy.
