My favorite thing to do is… play. I hit the ground running every morning. I love to climb and poke my head into anywhere it fits. I’m really curious! What’s that noise? I’m going to scope it out. What are you eating? Is it yummy to baby cats? Let me smell it! What’s that dangling feather toy? Attack!! I want my new owner to know… I am super cute. I look kind of like a Russian Blue with my sleek gray fur, but if you look closely I have some marbling in my fur on the sides. I’m one of a kind. I’m kind of like a happy seal. I’ll chase balls and play, and when I’ve worn myself out I like to lay in your lap for some cheek scratches and scratches behind my ears. It makes me purr. I’ve been a pretty lucky kitty to be found and rescued. I’m hoping to be just as lucky in finding a happy forever family. Paws crossed! What makes me special is… I’m a survivor! My littermates and I were found hiding under a construction trailer, and our mama was unfortunately found deceased nearby. The people working out of the trailer saved us. They gave us good things to eat and found the rescue to take us in to keep us healthy and safe. I like being a pampered house cat now. I like to be held, and the kids here hold me and play with me. There are other kitties here to play with, and the dogs are… meh. I guess they’re alright, too. I don’t mind them so much.

Q: What is the criteria (typically) for kittens to be considered available for adoption?

A: Pre-avalible kittens will (typically) become available after they have been fixed and once they get their 2nd set of shots at 8 weeks. They are scheduled to be fixed after 8 weeks and have reached 2 lbs (please bear in mind that this timeline can vary from kitten to kitten since weight is a factor and scheduling with vet to get them fixed is a factor). They must then recover for a minimum of 3 days after being fixed before they are considered available. Once a kitten has met this criteria it her/she will be moved to the available pet section of the site. If you have specific questions about an animal comment on their pet profile.

Please note, all estimations on availability dates are subject to change based on the individual kitten and them meeting the above criteria (not everyone grows at the same speed).
