What makes me special is I was in this place. Dark and cold, but kind of cozy too? And then people came and they grabbed me and they made me drink some things and gave me a bath. I feel a lot better than I did before. My brother,Brazen, says it’s because we have super powers? So we’re all better, but I’m still so scared.
The people here say I’m beautiful. They hold me and I hide my head in their arms. They tell me that I’m sweet and that there isn’t a mean bone in me, and they want me to feel safe, but I don’t quite yet.
I want my new owner to know I had a rough time, ya know? Everything is so scary. The food is good and the people here now are soft with me. They speak low and sweet, but I’m not ready to come out yet. Brazen tells me I should come out and play. He says the people are his adoring public and that they’ll worship me as well, but I’m not ready yet. It’s so scary.
A dog smelled me, and he was ok. The kids pet me, and as long as they are quiet and gentle they’re ok, too.
