My favorite thing to do is… As I get used to living in a home with lots of other cats and dogs I am usually observing from a safe place. When I do feel safe and comfortable I will wind myself around your ankles and allow a few head scratches and a few pets down my back. Because of my early life I am unsure of what to do after a few minutes and retreat back to my safe place. I can be chatty at times. As I build my trust with people I will sleep out on the open on beds, but I am still unsure how people will treat me. I am slowly learning that people can be gentle and kind.
I want my new owner to know… It WILL take time for me to learn to trust people. I absolutely love and appreciate being an indoor cat, safe from the heat and with clean food and water. In time I may be a wonderful companion, but I will need time and patience to become that kind of cat. I hope I can find a family that will allow me the luxury of a safe life inside.
What makes me special is… I was rescued from an alley in Phoenix with my one sweet tiny kitten. I was brought to my foster home to help mother five orphaned kittens. It was a lot to adjust to and I did my best to care for them. They have all since been adopted. I surprised my foster family with the ease I got along with the family’s 6 adult cats and four dogs. Other animals are completely fine with me!
