Q: Do I need to have my puppy on food to promote healthy hips and joints since my dog is a large breed?
A: From now till they are about 6 months old we do recommend they stay on the Purina ONE SmartBlend Natural Puppy Dog Food. After they are 6 months old we would encourage you to take them to your local vet to have their hips x-rayed to make sure that they are developing properly. If your vet says your pet is prone to hip dysplasia or joint issues consider changing to a vet recommended food brand.
